Death and sin came through Adam, and death and sin spread to all. Each of us are separated from God by our sin, and the payment for sin is death. But God so loved us that He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay for our sin. God must punish sin because He is Righteous. In His love He came into this world as the person, Jesus Christ, and He did what we could not. He lived a perfect life without sin. You must agree with God that you are a sinner, turn from your sin and by faith believe Jesus Christ alone paid the debt for your sin by death on a cross. Jesus did not remain dead in a tomb. He rose up from the grave, conquering death and the power of sin in the lives of those who believe. We who believe are born again into a new life and we live with assurance that He will return.  We live with assurance that we will be with Him in heaven (Romans 5:12-21; 6:23; John 3:1-21; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 2:1-10; Hebrews 9:11-28; 11:1-3).
